Hi! My name is Debbie and I live in the land of Oz - or Kansas, as some call it. ;o) Kick off your shoes, get comfy and stay as long as you like!
I love makin' new stuff look olde and primitive. Creating a sense of nostalgia and bringing back 'days gone by', is something that has turned into my passion.
When I spent a few years doing geneaology, I loved coming across the old old pictures and stories of long gone kin...always looking into the face on an old 'n worn photograph and wondering what their life was really like. Most of the time, I use the names of my ancestors or names from the Bible for my dolls and critters.
Simple Country Blessings is owned and operated my little 'ol me. So every item, unless otherwise noted, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind, of my own design. I am always trying new things and new ideas. I praise God for the gifts he has given me. I hope you enjoy my prim creations.

I am so lucky to have a supportive family who puts up with my sewing space, craft supplies, designs sketched on papers, tons of material (I just can’t pass up a cool design!), nekked dolls 'n critters in various stages of completion and all my priming messes! In summer, I like to hang my doll bodies and creations out in the sun to dry... so I'm thankful the neighbors aren't close enough to wonder just what in the world is going on over here!! :O)
I add new things as much as possible, so add me to your favorites and check back often!
